Caroline Keogh
Caroline Keogh is a Canadian Artist and Art Teacher. Her inspiration comes from places she has lived and visited; her hometown of Tottenham Ontario, then after her Bachelor of Arts at University of Waterloo remained in Waterloo Region, earned her Bachelor of Education Degree and Visual Arts Specialist from York University in Toronto. After retiring from her teaching career, Caroline moved permanently to Parrsboro, in beautiful Nova Scotia in 2021. She has been working as a substitute teacher. She now enjoys more time in her Art Studio on Willow Street in Parrsboro painting landscapes and seascapes using acrylic paint or watercolour, and sometimes creating mixed media (including glass bits and a lot of clear glue). Caroline prefers to use her photo references to depict beautiful scenery without the wind and distractions of painting outside. She likes people, taking art courses and participating in art events such as the Parrsboro Creative pop-ups and now the featured artist opportunity. Eventually, Caroline will host Open Houses at her studio, host painting lessons and step-by-step workshops to share her love of teaching and art in Parrsboro. She likes to post short videos of her painting process on social media and plans to explore this more. Caroline is eager to explore all of the Geopark sites and to visit new friend’s beautiful views as inspiration for more paintings over the years to come.
Caroline can make quality art prints within two weeks (maximum notice) for paintings.
